Somewhere between last year's wedge sneakers and this season's boyfriend fit everything, I gave peplum a second chance. I found it in this little crop tank from Topshop, in the loveliest shade of pale pink. So, okay, there's a certain je ne sais quoi to this entire look, that I may or may not repeat (probably not), but I'm glad I tried it out. I discovered several things: that I am a fan of pastel pink, and midi skirts (though I've always loved them) are more a friend to me than minis, and this summer, even though I wore some of the highest SPF known to man, I still got a hell of a tan.
